footballl weekend
My daughter is a Vanderbilt grad and I am a Chicago Bears fan so we had a football weekend, stopping in Lexington, Ky., to see Vanderbilt and Kentucky on to Nashville to see the Bears-Titans game. It was cold and raining in Lexington. Only 19,000 fans braved the elements. The game was one-sided as Kentucky lost 40-0. It didn't feel like a real college football game, certainly a far cry from what one would expect from a Southeastern Conference match-up. It was little surprise when Kentucky fired its head coach the next day. Fans and stadium personnel were friendly. We had a good time once it quit raining.
